Requirements Technical skills: - Proven excellence in at least one backend language. Kotlin and/or Python is a plus, but clean, maintainable code matters more than the specific language. - Deep AWS experience (EKS, S3, RDS, Bedrock) - Strong Kubernetes expertise in production environments - Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or Pulumi - CI/CD pipeline design (Gitlab, Github Actions or equivalent) - Experience with LLM APIs (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), embedding models, and AI orchestration patterns such as tool calling and guardrails. - Experience in API integration and system interoperability. Hands-on experience: - Track record of shipping AI-powered features to production, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, and API orchestration. - Experience building AI agent workflows (DSPy, Hugging Face stack, or similar) that deliver real business value. - You've built monitoring, alerting, and dashboards and used them to debug production incidents. Soft Skills: - Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative and ability to work in a dynamic startup environment. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking. - Communication skills to convey complex technical solutions in an understandable way. Education and experience: - Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 5+ years of professional experience in backend/platform engineering, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML. Background in payroll, HR-tech, FinTech, or B2B SaaS is a plus. Nice-to-haves: - Fine-tuning or training ML models / MLOps experience. - Frontend experience, most notably React and TypeScript. Benefits - The once in a lifetime opportunity to work with experienced serial entrepreneurs on a new project. You will be one of the first employees. - Attractive salary package with access to company shares (ESOP). - Flexible working hours with the option to work remotely. - Professional development opportunities and support for continuous learning. - A collaborative and innovative work environment.

About Motion 💡 Motion is creating the command center for creative strategists: an AI-driven analytics and intelligence platform that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, helping them uncover what's working, what's not, and ultimately ship more winning ads across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok. We closed out 2024 with a $30M Series B raise and strong signals from our customers. In 2025, we built the foundational capabilities our customers rely on, setting the stage for what's to come.
