Retail Inventory Planner

Role Description The retail planner is responsible for planning all inventory quantities for our retail locations across Arizona, Maryland, and Ohio. This includes understanding product demand trends and working closely with retail and marketing teams to ensure store-specific product needs are met. This person has an intimate understanding of menu variety requirements and market trends. They are also responsible for providing necessary data analysis to drive business decisions. - Allocation of all internally produced goods from our production sites to our retail stores - Partners with production planner to understand production rate of internally produced products to forecast ability to fulfill retail inventory needs - Order guide management for quantity and inventory health - Promotional change management to ensure promotions follow requirements for inventory on hand and meet company financial policies - Ongoing monitoring of inventory health and pars - Reviews inventory aging, expiring, and coordinates with procurement on promotions or vendor swaps - Forecasts promotional sales rates based on promotional performance or market trends - Analyzes store menus to find product or strain variety gaps and submits allocation orders - Monitors inventory levels for emergency orders and health against promotional plans and sales velocity - Establishes order quantities based on company order and allocation guides - Contributes to internal company meetings related to inventory menus and quantity/price and cost planning - Sends weekly recap emails to store management outlining plans between retail and procurement - Reviews inventory for upcoming promotions or new products being added to the menu and works with retail, marketing, and supply chain teams to establish order quantities and pricing - Assists in investigation of inventory discrepancies - Facilitates store-to-store inventory transfers as needed to minimize risk of aging inventory or over-buying - Reviews retail inventory KPI’s to adjust purchasing and allocation activity to meet inventory and sales goals - Assists in item creation and catalog maintenance to ensure timely receiving and item data integrity Qualifications - Must have detailed understanding of cannabis product brands, categories, and types. - Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent required. - 3+ years experience in cannabis retail environment. - 3+ years supply chain experience specifically in procurement or inventory planning. - Ability to use the computer. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when required. - Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task. - At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US. - Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested. Join our Team Our Exciting Opportunity We are now looking for an Inbound Supply Buyer to secure short- and long-term material availability in the inbound supply chains between external suppliers, Ericsson Supply Sites and Contract Manufacturing Sites (EMS), ensuring strong stakeholder fulfilment with R&D, Production Management and Sourcing. In this role, you will work as part of a small, experienced buying team to manage hardware suppliers (mainly in Asia), safeguard on-time deliveries to our Americas customers, and continuously optimize the use of time and capital resources across the supply chain. You will also ensure supply by maintaining the operational supplier relationship and handling supplier issues. What you will do - Execute inbound planning, purchasing and logistics operations to secure material availability and meet customer commitments. - Manage hardware supplier relationships, mainly in Asia, acting as the day-to-day counterpart for orders, deliveries and follow-up. - Work with Import process and Customs clearance, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to avoid delays. - Fulfil and continuously improve targets for lead time, delivery precision, cost and capital, as well as order acknowledgement (OA) response time. - Analyze potential risks in the inbound supply chain and drive mitigation actions (expediting, re-planning, escalation, etc.). - Establish and maintain supplier governance, including regular performance reviews, follow-up on KPIs and agreed actions. - Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions to secure stable deliveries and prevent shortages. - Optimize the use of capital resources, ensuring correct dimensioning and maintenance of inventories throughout the supply chain. - Perform SAP purchasing transactions: PO creation and maintenance, inventory and deliveries review, and resolution of deviations in goods received. - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Order & Delivery Management, Account Supply, Logistics/Transportation, Finance, R&D, Sourcing) to enable fact-based planning and fast decision-making.
