Payroll, Accounts Payable Specialist
ROBBINS CHILDRENS PROGRAMS INC
• Process biweekly payroll with a high level of accuracy and consistency • Maintain employee payroll records, including updates for new hires, changes, and departures • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports • Review payroll data carefully and resolve discrepancies proactively • Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and related matters with clarity and care • Review and process vendor invoices in a timely manner • Accurately code and enter invoices into the accounting system • Prepare and issue payments • Maintain well-organized records of all accounts payable activity • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies • Assist with month-end processes related to payables
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and/or accounts payable
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and basic accounting principles
- Experience with payroll and accounting systems (ADP, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating effectively with a distributed team
