Role Description - Design and develop test plans and strategies; consider various testing approaches and methodologies to ensure sufficient breadth and depth of testing approach. - Work with Project Management Team to identify and plan for QA processes and testing. - Conduct thorough and in-depth requirement testing and analysis across a broad range of browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices. - Identify and address complex compatibility and usability issues on all platforms. - Select effective testing methods and tools, ensuring alignment with complex project requirements and objectives. - Identify, document, and report bugs, and contribute to the issue resolution process by providing detailed and constructive information. - Facilitate communication between QA and development teams for effective and timely bug resolution. - Actively contribute to risk assessment and impact analysis based on requirement analysis. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness. - Work through complex projects and develop comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the testing process. - Collaborate and communicate with technical teams and key stakeholders by translating technical jargon into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders. - Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools. Qualifications - At least 5 years experience as a QA Engineer. - Advanced knowledge in several software development concepts like source control, agile planning, frameworks, tools, and libraries. - Advanced experience in using test management tools. - Advanced knowledge and experience of any Defect Tracking tool. - Advanced understanding of quality assurance processes and best practices, including test case creation, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting. - Advanced knowledge and practical experience of CDNs and its testing approaches. - Intermediate understanding of HTML/CSS, JSON/XML. - Proficiency in various testing methodologies, such as black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing. - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and ability to advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Practical ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor) to improve QA workflows. - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to effectively communicate with clients and the Next League leadership team. - Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proven track record of at-scale solutions for consumer-facing digital experiences. - Proven experience in the sports industry is a plus. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and product owners.
