Role and Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to drive the commercial success of our product portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop customized solution architectures for customer projects, working closely with the Sales and Professional Services teams. The role aims to address customer needs from a technical, functional, or clinical perspective, ensuring effective solutions that are aligned with the company’s product portfolio. The ideal candidate is preferably based in the Rome area. Key Responsibilities The role will be responsible for: - Analyzing customer needs and translating them into solution requirements; - Recommending and designing Ascom solutions in line with customer needs; - Aligning local requirements with global product functionalities; - Managing staging and testing environments in support of projects; - Supporting project delivery in collaboration with the involved teams; - Providing structured feedback to the product development team to support continuous improvement of solutions. Required Skills and Competencies - Strong customer-oriented mindset; - Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; - Effective communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders; - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; - Advanced technical acumen to scope and assess the feasibility of complex solutions during customer sales interactions; - Ability to interpret customer needs and the digital landscape in terms of systems, infrastructure, and clinical and functional product requirements; - Solid understanding of deployment and integration of complex, integrated solutions, with the ability to stay up to date on product evolution, infrastructure architecture changes, and market demand; - Strong self-management and organizational skills; - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus; - Team player willing to step outside their comfort zone. Education and Experience - At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector; - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in scientific, engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
