Position: Mechanical Estimator (HVAC) Salary: PHP86,000 - PHP121,000/month Working Hours & Conditions: TBD Holidays: TBD ROLE OVERVIEW: The company is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator (HVAC) to join their team, focusing on high-quality commercial mechanical services. You will be responsible for precise measurement, estimating, and cost management of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the New Zealand construction landscape and be a power-user of Plandroid. RESPONSIBILITIES: - HVAC Estimating: Perform detailed take-offs and cost estimates specifically for mechanical and HVAC services. - Plandroid Design: Use Plandroid to create accurate HVAC layouts and air conditioning designs. - Tendering: Prepare and submit comprehensive tenders for commercial projects, ensuring all components (ducting, units, labor, and ancillaries) are accounted for. - Contract Administration: Manage progress claims, variations, and final accounts throughout the project lifecycle. - Market Alignment: Apply knowledge of NZ/AU building standards and mechanical codes to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated HVAC/Mechanical Estimator experience.
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Plandroid.
  • Market Knowledge: Previous experience working on New Zealand projects is highly preferred.
  • Project Profile: Strong background in commercial HVAC systems (office fit-outs, industrial, or large-scale retail) rather than standard residential.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills; you must be able to explain technical HVAC details clearly to stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC components, ducting design, and thermal requirements.
