Twoconnect
We are seeking a Junior Web Support Officer to maintain and support WordPress and WooCommerce sites. The role includes managing products and orders, troubleshooting issues, making minor PHP updates, and ensuring smooth website performance through testing, documentation, and structured deployments. - Manage product listings including upload, update, and removal of products. - Handle order-related configurations and issues within WooCommerce. - Maintain checkout, payment, and email notification settings. - Navigate existing custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins. - Read and interpret PHP code including classes, methods, hooks, and REST API basics. - Make small code adjustments with guidance and AI-assisted support. - Back up systems before making changes or use version control where required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year relevant experience in web support, WordPress support, or junior web development.
- PHP experience and familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce structure is essential
- Understanding of classes, methods, hooks, and REST API basics.
- Basic Linux knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with Nginx, Apache, or server log checking is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments such as AWS or Aliyun is advantageous.
- Basic Canva or Adobe skills are advantageous.
