Your Contribution As Area Sales Manager Aftermarket Nordics (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the independent management, development and strategic growth of our customer base within the Nordics region (with particular focus on Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway). You will operate autonomously in a field sales role, working from your home base in one of the Nordic countries. - Full responsibility for achieving revenue and profit targets, including the implementation and execution of pricing strategies - Conducting consultative sales and negotiation meetings at decision‑maker level - Performing market and competitive analyses and deriving appropriate actions in close cooperation with central functions - Representing MAHLE at trade fairs, conferences and other industry‑relevant events - Planning, organizing and executing local marketing activities, product trainings and customer events - Conducting potential, pricing and product analyses - Close alignment of customer requirements with Sales Support and central teams (e.g. Product Management, Pricing, Marketing) - Independent planning, preparation and execution of annual reviews, acquisition meetings, contract negotiations and price discussions, including follow‑up and documentation Your Experience and Qualifications - Successfully completed degree in business administration or engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified business economist with additional qualifications) - Several years of professional experience in the automotive aftermarket, including field sales experience and a proven track record of sales success - Strong entrepreneurial mindset, openness to new and future‑oriented approaches, and a proactive, structured way of working - Excellent commercial understanding and confident user of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) as well as SAP - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Swedish is an advantage), combined with a professional and confident demeanor - High willingness to travel within the Nordic countries - Residence in one of the Nordic countries (ideally Sweden) or willingness to relocate #TeamMAHLE is diverse and we see that as a great advantage! About the VALD Business Development Manager Role This is a FIELD SALES role with defined territory ownership. While this position is considered “remote” in that VALD does not operate a local office in every territory, this is not an inside sales or work-from-anywhere role. Business Development Managers are expected to spend time in the field meeting clients, performing product demonstrations, and developing relationships across their assigned territory. Location & Residency Requirements - Applicants must live within 90 minutes of the posted metropolitan area associated with this role and able to travel around 3–4-hour radius of where they live. - Candidates who do not currently live within the territory must be willing to relocate within 30 days of offer/start date. - Applications from candidates planning to relocate will be considered; however, priority is given to qualified candidates already residing within the territory or those who have a history/network within the assigned territory - No relocation reimbursement is offered. About the VALD Business Development Team The Business Development team are on the front line for VALD. As part of a truly global team, you will attend conferences and perform product demonstrations (both in-person and teleconferences) in clinical, performance, and tactical settings. You'll set up and oversee product trials, nurture new leads and look for new opportunities for VALD. With an education-based approach to sales, as a Business Development Manager, you must have an intimate knowledge of VALD's systems. You'll leverage your industry expertise and product knowledge to demonstrate how our clients can get the most out of our systems to provide value to their business. Is this you?
