Experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician

• Installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicle fire suppression systems • Inspecting and validating vehicle fire suppression systems • Performing mechanical/electrical testing • Replacing, repairing, and certifying components • Reading/interpreting drawings, specs, and manuals • Evaluating customer needs and recommending solutions • Completing documentation and daily work reports • Mentoring junior team members • Participating in 24/7 on‑call rotation
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of field experience inspecting, testing, maintaining and/or installing vehicle fire suppression systems
- Training in either Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Dafo, Fogmaker or other vehicle fire suppression systems
- Other fire service certifications are an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely, independently, and professionally
- Customer‑focused approach
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work at remote sites and participate in overtime (with premium pay!)
