Job Description
WeRoad US Group Leader
WeRoad
The Role: Leading small group adventures around the globe. The Commitment: Per-trip. Perfect for your vacation days or freelance life. Location: Anywhere but an office. The World! 🌍 Our Vision: Connecting People, Cultures, and Stories. This is why we exist. At WeRoad, we don’t just book flights; we bridge worlds. We’re on a mission to kill the digital disconnect and get people back into the real world. We take groups of strangers and turn them into a "wolfpack" through shared experiences and a bit of grit. After building a community of 5,000+ leaders in Europe, we’re finally launching in the States. (Watch the video to feel the energy of the Global Community) What is a WeRoad Group Leader? First things first: This is not a desk job. It’s also not a full-time career. It’s a passion project for people who live to travel. You keep your 9-to-5, your freelance hustle, or your creative grind. When you’re ready to escape, you pick a WeRoad trip and lead it. - You are on the ground: You’ll be physically on the trip—navigating the streets of Tokyo, hiking in Iceland, or catching sunsets in Baja with a group of 10-15 travelers. - You are the Soul of the trip: You aren't a tour guide reading from a script. You’re the person who sets the tone, breaks the ice, brings the group together and makes sure everyone feels included. - You’re the Fixer: When a flight is delayed or a plan changes, you don’t sweat it. You pivot and keep the energy high. Who we’re looking for This is for the natural-born leaders. The ones who are always "the planner" in their friend group. - Social Intelligence: You can read a room and handle group dynamics like a pro. - Resourcefulness: You’re grounded and practical. You find solutions while others are still looking for the problem. - Energy: You’re adventurous, empathetic, and genuinely love meeting new people. Who should apply We’d love to hear from you if you: - Are in your 20s, 30s - Love group experiences and human connection - Feel aligned with WeRoad’s vision and values The Perks - Travel the World: While you’re leading a trip, the experience is on us. We handle the flights, the stays, and the itinerary. You bring the energy; we provide the world. - The Global Community: Gain instant access to our worldwide community of thousands of leaders. - Master Leadership: This is a real-world masterclass in crisis management and people skills that you just can't get in a cubicle. How the selection process works We don’t do boring HR interviews. We want to see your energy in action. - The Application: Show us your vibe. We want to know you! - The Bootcamp (May 16-17): If your application stands out, we’re inviting you to Austin, Texas. The Austin Bootcamp* is a high-energy, 2-day selection event. It’s part connection, part challenge, and 100% WeRoad. Show us you can lead the pack, and you’re in. *Note: for the Austin Bootcamp, accommodation and other inclusions will be explained when relevant Ready to lead the world? Read the vision. Catch the vibe and apply!

Changing how people make financial choices isn’t easy, though. We know that achieving our mission is full of challenges — challenges that can be complex and often unexpected but that are always interesting, rewarding, and fun to solve as a team. This is where you come in. We are on the hunt for the right candidate to join us and help lead us forward to continued growth. We are looking for an aspiring product leader to join our growing team. As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll be the vital bridge between business strategy and technical execution for our Mortgage and Insurance verticals. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional squad, turning complex problems into seamless digital experiences for our customers. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Research and analyze: Conduct customer research, analyze market trends, and run experiments to identify clear product opportunities that improve the customer experience and drive results. - Drive delivery: Support day-to-day agile execution, write high-quality user stories, manage the backlog in Jira, and keep the engineering team unblocked and aligned. - Shape the roadmap: Contribute ideas to the roadmap, help prioritize, and advocate for the work that matters most. - Collaborate: Work closely with design, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate high-level ideas into clear requirements and actionable plans. - Measure and Iterate: Define success metrics for features, monitor performance post-launch, and drive continuous improvement based on data. - Build domain expertise: Develop strong understanding of the Canadian mortgage and insurance landscape by staying informed on competitors, trends, and real pain points customers face. Equally comfortable talking to an engineer and a business stakeholder - Customer-first mindset. You’ll start from the customer and work backwards towards a solution - Organized and detail-oriented. You can manage competing priorities while keeping everyone aligned - Curious about personal finance, mortgages, or insurance. You don't need to be an expert, but you care about the space - Excited about AI and where it's going. We're actively building AI-powered experiences and you'll be part of that Nice to have - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Asana, or similar - Experience in fintech, SaaS, or a high-growth environment CULTURE FIT: - Members first - we prioritise the interests and needs of our members above all else. We solve member pain points and focus on member satisfaction. We start with members, and end with the P&L. - Growth mindset - we set ambitious goals and challenge the status quo. We take responsible risks and are accountable for our actions. - Better together - we are One team with One common goal. We make our footprint bigger than our foot, leave our egos at the door, support each other to achieve great results as One company. - Run after problems - we tackle problems head on and focus on finding solutions. Obstacles are seen as opportunities for growth and innovation. We have the hard conversations and choose the harder right over the easier wrong. And we do it with a smile. - Measure Learn Iterate Innovate - we focus on getting things done. We measure what matters, iterate, learn, iterate many times in a data-driven way, which is how we will innovate. JOB PERKS: - Competitive salary: We know it’s expensive to live/work in Canada - Remote-first organization: we love opportunities to get together as a team, but for the most part we offer our employees the flexibility to work anywhere in Canada - Flexible hours: Enjoy a couple more hours of sleep in the morning, if you want - Benefits: Health is wealth!
