Position Summary: We are seeking a Solution Architect – Data & AI to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance data and AI solutions. This individual will play a key role in shaping our modern data ecosystem, including cloud data platforms, advanced analytics, machine learning, and enterprise data integration strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cloud-native data architecture, experience with enterprise AI/ML initiatives, and a strategic mindset to align technology with business outcomes. Consulting role, full time for CTG End Clients: various industries Location: Remote Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture - Architect end-to-end data and AI solutions across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including data ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, and ML/AI services. - Lead the design of modern data Lakehouse architectures, data warehouses, and real-time analytics pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. - Define AI/ML solution frameworks, including feature stores, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices. Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into scalable technical solutions. - Serve as a trusted advisor across product, data science, engineering, and compliance teams. Governance & Security - Ensure all solutions comply with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Collaborate with enterprise security teams to define identity, access, and data protection strategies. Thought Leadership & Innovation - Guide enterprise adoption of emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, NLP, and predictive analytics. - Contribute to data platform modernization strategies, evaluating new tools, patterns, and architectures. Delivery & Enablement - Provide technical oversight during solution implementation, ensuring best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring. - Mentor technical teams and enable knowledge transfer through architecture diagrams, documentation, and working sessions. Required Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML solution design. - Proven success delivering cloud-native data platforms and AI solutions (Azure preferred). - Hands-on experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Power BI, SQL, Python, and Spark. - Experience with machine learning workflows, MLOps, and integration into production environments. - Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and security best practices. - Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience deploying Generative AI / LLM-based solutions using Azure OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks. - Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog, or similar data cataloging/governance tools. - Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DP-203, or AI-102 are a strong plus. - Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, energy, financial services) a plus. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
