As the Manager, Business Development – Government, you will serve as a national subject‑matter expert and growth enabler responsible for supporting Wesco’s expansion across all levels of government, with a key strategic focus on Canada’s Defence segments. Relationship & Ecosystem Development - Establish and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, defence partners, suppliers, and internal Wesco teams. - Serve as a liaison between branches, suppliers, category management, marketing, and operations to ensure coordinated market execution. - Support strategic partnerships, supplier alignment, and national programs relevant to Defence opportunities. Growth & Performance Enablement - Develop business plans and go‑to‑market strategies that support revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. - Monitor market performance, track opportunities, and identify risks and gaps, proposing solutions to strengthen Wesco’s competitive position. - Support internal and customer training related to government and defence procurement processes, programs, and solutions.
