Overall purpose The Programme Administrators provide end‑to‑end administrative support for allocated programmes, including assessment lifecycle administration, school‑based academic governance servicing, and cross‑team coordination to ensure accurate, timely and compliant programme delivery in line with partner and regulatory requirements. Roles and responsibilities: • Administer daily programme tasks for assigned portfolio, maintaining records, handbooks, communication channels, and shared resources. Provide general administrative support such as preparing documents and responding to routine enquiries from students and staff. • Track academic deadlines and send reminders for compliance, maintaining up-to-date calendars and supporting students or staff with deadline management. • Coordinate schedules and information with leaders; support timetabling requests and keep programme documents updated and consistent across platforms. Serve as first contact for non-academic queries, directing to relevant teams as needed. Facilitate regular meetings with team members to ensure ongoing alignment. • Set up assessment submissions, upload approved briefs, and monitor readiness with all stakeholders. Maintain trackers and secure folders, schedule meetings, log actions, and liaise with External Examiners per protocols, ensuring accuracy in assessment operations. Generate reports on assessment status and follow up on outstanding actions. • Organise standardisation meetings and other School meetings, manage agendas, papers, minutes, and action logs, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with governance requirements. • Support the preparation of board packs and circulate outcomes as required. • Support Academic Misconduct investigations, ensuring that forms are submitted correctly and that the correct processes are followed in all cases. • Support monitoring, examiner report tracking, contribute to quality reports, assist with reviews/audits by organising documentation, implement regulation changes, and ensure process compliance. Help analyse data collected from monitoring exercises. • Collaborate across departments for effective delivery and escalate risks or compliance issues promptly. Take part in cross-functional project groups to share best practices and lessons learned. Person Specification Essential 1. HE administration experience with assessment support exposure. 2. Excellent organisational skills; accuracy under tight deadlines; confident minute taking. 3. Advanced digital literacy; comfort with secure sharing to externals. 4. Clear written/oral communication; professional, student-centred service ethos. 5. Understanding of governance etiquette, confidentiality (GDPR) and escalation routes. Desirable 6. Experience with franchised/validated provision; working with External Examiners and partner timelines. 7. Familiarity with OfS B conditions and standard HE assessment and governance cycles.
