Provide expertise of tax processes and enabling technologies and commit to help clients solve problems and create business value. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Contribute as a team member on client-facing tax related projects - Consult with clients to understand their business requirements and map them to tax solutions - Contribute as a team member using DMA’s structured project methodology - Manage project tasks and successful completion of project deliverables and activities - Perform Tax engine and ERP configuration to reflect client requirements; must be comfortable with at least one ERP - Provide Go Live and cutover activity support when needed - Contribute to project management by creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation - Translate requirements and design into appropriate documentation format - Assist managing status meetings including calls and weekly minutes - Train tax users to effectively use applications - Develop working relationships with clients in order to complete assignments and communicate with clients when necessary - Connect, engage, and build the broader relationships with DMA’s clients and alliance partners Education and Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field required - 1-4 years of experienced in a related role - Technical knowledge and experience working with Java, SQL, and Windows - Working knowledge of at least one tax engine - Ability to think strategically, solve problems effectively, and persistently follow-through on assignments - Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable) - Ability to understand and conceptualize accounting and tax processes and procedures - Experience with transaction tax systems a plus - Experience with Microsoft products, data analytics tools, and cloud-based business solutions - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
