• Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, servicing, and repair of MKS equipment and systems • Ensure our equipment are operating normally • Provide basic operational training to customers • Adhere to Field Service processes and operations excellence • Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects • Support Sales by providing in-depth technical skills and knowledge • Manage and resolve technical escalations working with management and HQ Product teams • Act with urgency and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction and success

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Mechanical/Electronics/Control Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of related Semiconductor experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills (In Japanese and English)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytic, business and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, self-driven, positive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high tech environment
  • Chinese communication skill is a plus (but not mandatory)

Role Description The Automation Technician at Stella-Jones is responsible for supporting and enhancing industrial automation systems across U.S. manufacturing facilities, focusing on efficient and reliable operations through hands-on technical expertise.
