Role Description Stella-Jones is currently seeking a Temporary Account Specialist to join our sales team. The Account Specialist manages assigned customer accounts by handling various pre- and post-sale functions to ensure the highest quality of customer service. The territory served covers Eastern Canada. This is a temporary, full-time position until September 25, 2026, with the possibility of contract renewal. This is a 100% remote position. The successful candidate will work from their home office in the Greater Montreal area. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to the development of sales forecasts and the establishment of objectives. - Participate in inventory management, order processing, and related transactions for assigned clients and territories. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of customer contractual and regulatory requirements. - Verify and enter business transaction details into spreadsheets and databases. - Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner. - Reconcile discrepancies and issues identified in reports. - Enter customer and sales data into the processing system in accordance with company procedures. - Review, balance, interpret, and correct computer reports, and submit them to management upon request. - Support customers and staff members by answering questions regarding accounts, procedures, and services. - Monitor yard inventories and manage Alliance client accountability as needed. - Provide information to the planning department to ensure appropriate finished goods inventory levels are maintained and plan replenishments to meet customer needs. - Review all quotes and orders for accuracy and timely submission. - Monitor transactions to ensure compliance with company and industry procedures and regulations. - Participate in the preparation and submission of Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and formal bids and tenders as required. - May be required to work overtime and/or weekends to provide coverage during storm-related responses. - Actively participate in and contribute to the company's safety program. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - College diploma or a combination of relevant education and experience. - Minimum of 2 years of related experience. - Fluency in French and English, spoken and written. - Must reside in the Greater Montreal area. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines. - Ability to work within a team and collaborate effectively across departments. - Demonstrated ability to analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP) and identify business issues. - Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision. - Ability to build strong working relationships and a proven track record in customer service. - Self-discipline and autonomy required to work effectively in a remote environment. Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Location: Tacoma, Washington (or at our corporate HQ in Montreal, Canada) Hybrid Job Description: Position Overview The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Utility Products business unit by leading financial planning, analysis, and business partnering activities. This role will act as a key liaison between Sales, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, and IT to drive informed decision-making and performance management. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Divisional Accounting Director, who is responsible for costing and inventory valuation, and will translate these inputs into actionable insights, forecasts, and planning outputs.
