Job Description

Senior Analyst – Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Training, Onsite Lead

AMERICAN SYSTEMS

• Serve as on-site lead for 5 personnel while providing requirements development for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program, specifically: • Utilize Naval Warfare expertise to review training and readiness programs for Live, Virtual, Constructive requirements supporting United States Fleet Forces Command (USFF)/Commander Pacific Fleet (CPF). • Manage an on-site team in Virginia Beach, Va consisting of LVC subject matter experts supporting requirements development for U.S Navy, Joint and other services, and coalition and multinational partners • Develop Fleet level use cases and requirements in support of LVC training capabilities. • Conduct analyses and develop white papers as appropriate to support projects in support of Fleet LVC training requirements. • Provide support and subject matter expertise for current Fleet Training Requirements Management Group processes and interface with Fleet training experts to develop new and enduring LVC requirements. • Coordinate as needed with Naval Systems Commands, to integrate requirements for constructive and virtual representations and training systems to meet current and future U.S Navy training objectives. • Provide large staff level support for training and readiness requirements development. • Coordinate and liaison with Fleet and Maritime Operations Center (MOC) stakeholders in the development and execution of into LVC training and MOC above-Secret training initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • MS Degree in technical field preferred (engineering/computer science) with 10 years of operational experience or a BS degree with at least 14 years of operational experience.
  • Must have recent Warfare operational experience and requirements development experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have valid US Driver's License.
  • Recent US Navy operational experience.
  • Knowledge of Fleet Training process to include MOC purpose and functions, Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP) and Joint/Navy exercise life cycle.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities Under minimal direction, the Analyst will be responsible for the design, build, testing, training, and support of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The Analyst requires little or no supervision as they build, maintain the Epic system and exercise independent judgement and discretion in carrying out day-to-day support related activities. The Analyst performs complex design and analysis tasks related to the hospital business operations. The Analyst will also act as a mentor to other members of the Professional Billing (PB) team. #LI-KT1 #remote Qualifications Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience required. - Certification in Epic applications (e.g., Epic Professional Billing, etc.) and any new certifications must be obtained within three (3) months of hire. - Two (2) years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Epic EHR applications. - Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and optimization within the Epic environment. - Strong understanding of hospital business operations and structure, clinical workflows, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment. - Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. - Technical expertise in subject matter areas demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, process design and workflow, research, installation/implementation, and support of EHR systems. - Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and/or priorities. - Customer service oriented and excellent communication and organizational skills. - Able to travel up to 50% and take calls as needed. Preferred qualifications: - Prior experience in EMR implementations and/or support. - Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
