The Crown Is Yours As a Director of Product, Financial Platform, you'll lead the strategy and execution of the systems that power payments, ledgering, and money movement across a global, regulated ecosystem. You'll operate at the core of financial infrastructure, shaping how funds flow seamlessly and securely across every customer interaction. In this role, you'll scale platform capabilities that support both customer-facing experiences and critical internal financial operations, balancing precision, compliance, and speed. You'll also build and develop a high-performing team while influencing how financial systems evolve to support product growth and new market opportunities. What you'll do as a Director of Product, Financial Platform - Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for the Financial Platform, spanning payments, ledgering, money movement, and financial risk capabilities. - Lead the development of scalable, controlled, and customer-centric financial services that enable seamless transaction experiences across products. - Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to deliver high-impact platform solutions that ensure both customer experience and financial integrity. - Scale shared services, APIs, and internal tooling that power payment operations, reconciliations, financial reporting, and operational controls. - Drive the strategy for financial risk systems, including monitoring, decisioning, controls, and workflows that support transaction oversight and fraud prevention. - Oversee ledger and money movement systems, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and resilience across all financial transactions. - Improve dispute resolution, exception handling, and reconciliation processes to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy. - Lead and develop a team of product managers, fostering strong execution, collaboration, and customer focus across the platform. What you'll bring - A Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience. - At least 7 years of experience in product management, with experience in payments, financial systems, platform infrastructure, or fintech environments. - Experience leading and developing product teams responsible for complex platform or infrastructure products. - Strong experience partnering with engineering, finance, operations, and risk stakeholders in highly regulated environments. - Proven ability to translate financial data, operational metrics, and risk signals into product insights and decisions. - Experience building APIs, platform services, or internal tools used across multiple teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and leadership levels. Join Our Team We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 192,100.00 USD - 240,100.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
