Job Description

DevOps Engineer

Cision

• Work with application developers to design and implement pipelines and workflows to effectively build, test and deploy applications • Work with infrastructure and security teams to ensure pipelines align with necessary requirements for networking, security and performance • Support the SDLC to help ensure our product development meets and passes necessary compliance and infosec requirements • Be first line of support to enable developers to move faster within the Waystar ecosystem • Support in the management of internal tooling • Maintain clear, consistent communication with management. • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with team members • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience, preferably some time in application development
  • Experience and curiosity in CI/CD processes and tooling
  • A desire to automate and optimize repetitive tasks
  • Ability to code in one or more general-purpose programming languages; C# and .NET are preferred
  • Experience with developer tooling such as GitHub, GitLab, Harness, Jenkins, etc
  • Experience with infrastructure components (Kubernetes, Windows, Linux, Load Balancers) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and embrace change
  • Highly self-motivated; able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
