Solutions Analyst – Jira Platform

• Configure Jira features, including creating dashboards, reports and custom filters. • Integrate Jira with other tools and development/CI/CD platforms. • Identify and resolve workflow or configuration issues in Jira. • Proactively suggest improvements and implement new management practices. • Create and interpret performance and productivity reports. • Implement ITIL processes in Jira. • Gather requirements with a focus on automating activities for use in the tool. • Align with the client's team Product Owner (PO). • Create and maintain documentation, as well as validation and acceptance evidence. • Provide consultative support, offering advice and recommendations related to the environment. • Monitor and support automated processes. • Provide feedback to the project team about necessary adjustments to deliverables to mitigate or prevent production incidents. • Follow monitoring and incident/crisis procedures.
Job Requirements
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to plan, track and manage tasks, sprints and releases.
- Knowledge of software development using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript and others.
- Skill in gathering functional requirements and strong communication and facilitation of meetings/brainstorms.
- A profile that enjoys researching and seeking alternative solutions to problems.

Role Description As a member of the School of Access, Education and Language faculty team, you will: - Provide theoretical and practical instruction in the online asynchronous full-time Early Childhood Education diploma program. - Collaboratively design and deliver educational experiences for a diverse group of learners, including preparation, instruction, assessment, and evaluation of students using a broad range of flexible teaching and learning practices and technologies such as Learning Management Systems (e.g., Brightspace) and classroom technology. - Ensure health and safety practices and procedures are followed in your classroom, shops, and labs. - Maintain currency with the latest industry practices relevant to your program and continually develop your understanding of 21st-century teaching and learning practices. - Engage in different delivery modalities (e.g., in-class, online, blended online/in-class), off-site instruction, and alternate work hours such as weekends and evenings. - Perform related duties including academic and career advisement, participating on committees, program marketing, curriculum revision/development, supporting and monitoring work placements, liaising with business and industry, representing the College as required, and upholding NSCC policies and procedures.
