Business Analyst/Scrum Master

General Dynamics Information Technology

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Coordinate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure delivery aligns with business objectives and customer needs. • Perform detailed business analysis to capture functional and non-functional requirements for the DOIS project. • Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to derive business rules from legacy systems and generate user stories. • Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a clear and comprehensive product backlog. • Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure full understanding of requirements and smooth project execution. • Lead sprint retrospectives to identify areas of improvement and ensure continuous improvement of Agile processes. • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields, preferred but not required
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and legacy system modernization
  • Strong understanding and experience with AI tools, particularly GitHub Copilot
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
