Job Description: MANAGED MARKETING - SPECIALIST Full-time remote position • Available to Canadian applicants WHO WE ARE Club Caddie is a fast-growing Detroit-based company in the golf industry that is looking for people who are action oriented, customer-focused, quick to learn, dedicated, accountable, and driven. We design and build comprehensive software that’s simple to use so that golf business owners and operators can focus on what they do best—providing unforgettable golf experiences. HOW WE WORK We make bedrock business principles accessible and intuitive for golf courses operators of all sizes by arming our partners with comprehensive and easy to use software solutions. We like operating at full throttle in a collaborative group of both seasoned startup veterans and tech-novices who deliberate about the right way to do things, and who are empowered to take smart risks, find brilliant solutions, and build things that better the well-being of our customers and theirs. We’re doing our best work when we’re learning from our mistakes, improving on our successes, and finding abilities we didn’t know that we had. WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Managed Marketing Specialist at Club Caddie, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for our golf course and golf simulator clients who utilize our software solutions. Leveraging your expertise in both marketing and the golf industry, you will collaborate closely with our clients to understand their unique needs, goals, and target audience. From there, you will develop and execute tailored marketing plans to help them maximize their marketing reach, increase engagement with their players, and achieve their objectives. The ideal candidate has a background in both marketing and the golf industry, with a proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies, while also being very comfortable with relationship management and getting the most out of their interaction with the golf course operators. The daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Collaborate with the golf course operator to understand their marketing goals, target audience, how they want to reach out and stay connected with their players, and their current challenges. - Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that align with the golf courses objectives and leverage our marketing solution to do so. - Conduct monthly review meetings to discuss performance, suggest tweaks and collect needed information for up-coming events - Create compelling marketing messages and content that effectively communicates the brand and value proposition of the course, along with the events, or happening at the course, they’re looking to promote. - Oversee and coordinate the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, content marketing, SMS marketing, social media, and digital marketing. - Utilize our marketing automation tools to segment audiences, personalize communications, and automate workflows. - Monitor and analyze campaign performance, tracking key metrics and providing clients with regular reports and insights. - Foster strong relationships with our client golf courses, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional customer service and support. - Contribute to the development and improvement of our managed marketing service offerings. HOW YOU’LL DO IT - In depth training on our golf course management platform and marketing products. - Work closely with our golf course operators to learn their needs. - Prioritize tasks for multiple projects. - Strong communication and writing skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Passion for both golf and marketing, exhibiting empathy for customers and their success, through our marketing offering. - Passion for being a part of a growing organization. WHO YOU ARE You care about helping golf course operators (and enterprise clients) reach their dreams. You sweat the details of their issues and truly care about enhancing their marketing effectiveness. In fact, you do whatever’s needed to help our customers succeed. You’re a terrific listener, a savvy marketer, and a discerning communicator. You enjoy the process of getting to know the client you’re working with, understanding what their aspirations are, and how they want to be seen by their players, building an in-depth plan and executing on that plan. You’re collaborative with the golf course operator, always being comfortable with where they’re comfortable, but never being afraid to pitch an idea that may take them outside of their comfort zone with new ideas and out of the box thinking. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. - 2 years of experience in managing marketing campaigns, preferably within the golf industry - Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. - Understanding of the golf industry, including golf course operations, club management, and golfer engagement. - Strong knowledge of email marketing, marketing automation, SMS marketing, social media management, digital marketing, and analytics. - Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. - Ability to work collaboratively and build strong client relationships. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. - Passion for marketing, and the golf industry. 30-60-90 STARING PLAN - Days 1-30: - Learn the framework of your day-to-day responsibilities. - Gain in-depth knowledge of Club Caddie software, including the Club Caddie Marketing tools and associated software used in the role. - Collaborate with the Managed Marketing Team Lead, to understand the product offering, the tools we leverage, and the infrastructure that is in place. - Days 31-60: - Shadow Managed Marketing Director to understand the day-to-day functions of the role - Take on your first client, with assistance from the Director and work through the various steps involved with managing accounts - Create your first marketing plans for Club Caddie Managed Marketing clients. - Develop monthly customer meeting outlines and content. - Create templates and content for email blasts, campaigns, SMS texts, social media, and more for your first clients - Work within the social media management and performance reporting platforms. - Familiarize yourself with Google Business Management tools and strategies for leveraging them. - Days 61-90…and beyond: - You will be taking on your full workload at this point, managing your various client accounts - You will closely monitor the performance of the various marketing campaigns, tracking key metrics and analyzing data to evaluate their effectiveness. - You will be responsible for planning and executing various marketing campaigns for our golf course clients.
