Construction Program Manager

Stryker

• Develop, manage, and execute an effective construction portfolio strategy • Leverage internal and external partnerships to create scalable program and project management • Work with Real Estate & Facilities to deliver construction projects enhancing customer experience and promoting employee productivity • Ensure governance of external PMO/PM partners • Develop solutions to oversee RE&F related construction projects including mechanisms for financial controls, project scheduling, statutory compliance and risk management • Communicate project status regularly across all stakeholder groups, including financial, schedule, quality, risk reporting • Delivery of a multi-year forecast of construction activities • Partner with IT Business Partner to ensure suitable Technology, Reporting, and Analytics solution • Manage service provider relationships to ensure successful delivery • Collaborate with other Corporate Functions to ensure transparency and alignment • Develop standardized processes, guidelines, and playbooks as needed • Ensure PMO/PM partner introduces industry best practices and new ideas

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or in Construction Management, or related field
  • 8+ years’ of experience in construction program management, preferably in med tech, life sciences, or related industry
  • 6+ years' of experience delivering real estate construction projects from discovery through to closeout
  • 6+ years' of experience organizing high performing teams that consistently deliver projects that meet performance objectives for scope, schedule and cost
  • 4+ years' of experience assessing the operational effectiveness of contractors
  • Relevant industry licenses and certifications strongly preferred(e.g. PMP, etc.)
