• Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop, test and deliver commercial software products. • Drive UI architecture, design and develop rich UI web applications and reusable UI components. • Ensure best practices, design guidelines for UI development • Provide technical leadership to fellow UI engineers. • Write clean code to develop functional web applications and server-side applications • Develop and design generic, secure & scalable RESTful services and APIs • Write unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA for resolution of issues • Collaborate with product owners and product managers to understand business requirements and for user story creation and refinement. • Provide input for project estimation, planning, timelines, and status • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as necessary

• Design, develop, and deliver an AI-focused capstone project: either an AI intelligence layer for data contracts (similarity search, lifecycle management, maturity assessment, NLG) or an AI-powered governance coach and gamification engine for data products • Build and integrate AI/ML features into Actian’s Data Product Workbench using Java, Python, and React • Collaborate with customers, partners, and the Bitol open-source community (Linux Foundation) to validate requirements and gather feedback • Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and design discussions with the product and engineering teams • Present your capstone project and findings at the Internship Showcase in week 12
