Indirect Tax Associate
New Era Technology
• Use accounting proficiency to reconcile indirect tax balances • Use excel proficiency to read, organize & finalize sales data • Use digital and analytical proficiency to navigate and research tax accounts • Complete global periodic indirect tax returns • Work with General Ledgers, other financial statements, and research tax related inquiries thereof • Calculate, post, and ensure accuracy of indirect tax accounts • Provide administrative support to the tax dept & other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
- An Associate’s degree in accounting may be considered with appropriate experience
- If Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, no minimum professional experience required
- If Associate’s degree or equivalent, 2 years of professional experience in general accounting duties including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced skills required)
- Knowledge of GAAP required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, QuickBooks, and large ERP systems a plus
- Bilingual (English a must)
