We are currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to add to our team. Accountability Summary We seek a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and AWS services, with a passion for developing robust and secure software solutions. They will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment. Duties and Responsibilities The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks: - Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications. - Design, implement, and optimize MySQL databases. - Develop interactive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript - Leverage AWS services to build scalable and reliable systems. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Stay up to date with the latest PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and AWS technologies. Required Qualifications - 2-3 years of professional experience in software development. - Proficient in PHP and popular frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel, developing scalable and efficient backend applications. - Working knowledge of Node.js and frameworks for server-side development. - Experience with GraphQL for API development. - Deep understanding of database systems including MySQL, MariaDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity. - Skilled in front-end development using React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery, TypeScript and other modern technologies. - Understanding of cloud infrastructure with a strong foundation in AWS services like EC2, S3, ECS, Lambdas, RDS, Fargate. - In-depth knowledge of RESTful API development. - Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. - Experience with security-focused development methodologies. - Experience with other front-end frameworks (e.g. Next.js, Vue etc.). - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
