Backend Software Developer – ShopVue Cloud Role Name / Job Title: Backend Software Developer About the Role: We are seeking a backend developer experienced with .NET Core to design, build, and operate microservice-based systems for ShopVue Cloud (Manufacturing Execution System). The role emphasizes reliable, observable services using event sourcing, containerization, and modern deployment practices. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and operate scalable microservices using .NET Core and C#. • Apply domain-driven design; implement event sourcing and CQRS to model domain events and workflows. • Define and implement REST APIs and collaborate on integration contracts. • Containerize services with Docker, build optimized images, and integrate containers into CI/CD and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes preferred). • Leverage Dapr where appropriate to simplify pub/sub, state management, bindings, and resiliency patterns. • Implement observability and resilience: structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, retries, and alerting. • Ensure data consistency across services; implement sagas or compensating actions when needed. • Write automated unit, integration, and contract tests; support performance and load testing. • Participate in architecture and design reviews, mentor teammates, and improve deployment practices. • Follow Git best practices: branching strategies, feature branches, pull requests, and CI integration
