Job Description

Account Manager - fully remote!

Inflect

What You Will Do In This Role As an Account Manager at Inflect you will be the linchpin of our customer engagements, executing and managing the full customer lifecycle to ensure seamless coordination and execution of digital infrastructure deals. This role is a combination of Project Management and Customer Support, and is key to enabling our Advisors to effectively support customers and drive revenue growth. You will coordinate and participate in customer meetings, ensuring all parties always have the necessary information and context to make good use of everyone’s time. You will manage stakeholder time and technical resources effectively, provide regular updates on open leads and deals, and proactively address potential engagement risks. By maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in Salesforce and providing regular status reports, you will ensure alignment and collaboration among all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will keep track of quote requests, inform Solution Advisors of progress, and reach out to customers regarding additional projects or upcoming renewals, ensuring a smooth and successful engagement process, long after a deal has closed. Who You Are Hello organization nerd, we have been looking for you! You probably have already found 5 different things in this job description that you want to change around to make it easier to read. We respect that! Yes, your biggest strength might be your exceptional organizational skills, but you have a real knack for effective email communication, and you understand the importance of giving context -and who needs what type of context- in all meetings and engagements. You excel at building and nurturing relationships, ensuring that clients' needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded. Your ability to deftly coordinate and collaborate with internal resources, including Solution Advisors and technical teams, sets you apart as a key player in achieving engagement objectives. You thrive in dynamic environments, adeptly managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances with ease. You are always on top of things, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed. Seeing a deal take shape and then guiding it through to successful execution gives you energy and purpose. That’s why you are not afraid to identify potential risks and address them proactively - you always want to be one step ahead so that you can ensure smooth project execution. Your commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and meticulous documentation in Salesforce demonstrates your dedication to excellence. Above all, you are a team player who thrives in a culture of collaboration, driving successful outcomes for both clients and the organization. Who We Are We’re revolutionizing the way companies buy and sell digital infrastructure (Datacenter, cloud, and network services), and we’re extremely proud of that. Digital infrastructure services are the building blocks of the internet and at the core of every industry. Traditionally it’s been bought manually through service provider sales people, resulting in high costs, slow procurement cycles, and services that aren’t the best fit - slowing down the ability of companies to build and innovate. Inflect’s marketplace and advisory are removing friction so any company can get what they need, when they need it, with the right deal terms. By achieving our mission, we unlock businesses to build and human innovation to inflect! Of course, we’re also a startup, and it’s important that you understand what that means if you work for us. We work quick, we work smart, we work hard, and the road to success is filled with some of the highest highs, but also has its fair share of lows. If you’re looking for the same thing day in and day out, this will not be the place for you. (And that’s totally okay!) We’re all owners of Inflect -full time employees receive option grants-, and we know that we’re the reason we’ll achieve our goals, or we’ll be the reason we don’t. So believe me when I say that we’re hell bent on achieving our goals. If this sounds like the kind of environment you would thrive in then we’d love to have you! Day-To-Day Responsibilities - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met - Coordinate with internal resources (Solution Advisors, Agents, technical resources, etc.) to ensure engagement objectives are achieved - Coordinate and sit in on customer meetings, ensuring all parties have the information and context they need, including Solution Advisors, VP of Sales and even potentially the CEO.. This includes post-meeting activity follow-up and coordination - Providing regular updates to all relevant stakeholders on open leads and deals - Manage stakeholder time as well as technical resources effectively on open deals - Identify potential engagement risks and surface to internal stakeholders appropriately - Ensure that all deliverables meet the Inflect’s quality standards as well as client expectations - Maintain engagement documentation in Salesforce and provide regular status reports to clients and internal stakeholders as needed - Routinely engage with all relevant engagement stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and collaboration - Keep track of quote requests to partners and keep Solution Advisors informed on quote request progress - Create and update summaries compiling quotes utilizing google sheets and formulas - Proactively reach out to customers regarding upcoming renewals - Proactively reach out to customers to uncover new projects and additional revenue streams - Actively reach out to new incoming leads within a consistent minimum SLA What Benefits We Offer - 100% remote work environment - seriously! - Unlimited PTO - Fully covered health insurance options through a major health insurance provider for both you and your family (you pay $0) - 401k available - Dental and Vision insurance available with widely used providers - Option grants begin vesting after year 1 - you own a piece of Inflect
