Job Requirements

As a Sr. Client Success Manager I, Data & Marketing, you will serve as the primary proactive, consultative partner for a complex book of financial institution clients using Alkami’s Data & Marketing solution. In this role, you independently manage client relationships, leverage data-driven insights, and provide strategic guidance to help clients use the platform to drive marketing performance, deepen relationships, and achieve measurable business outcomes. You will translate platform usage into clear value stories, maintain strong stakeholder relationships (including executive influencers), and ensure clients realize ROI that supports long-term retention and loyalty. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Act as the primary consultative partner for an assigned, complex book of business, aligning the Data & Marketing solution to client business objectives. - Lead regular strategy and planning discussions with day-to-day and senior stakeholders to identify goals, challenges, and key performance indicators. - Provide recommendations on data-driven marketing strategies, campaigns, and best practices that leverage Alkami’s Data & Marketing capabilities. - Maintain a strong pulse on client sentiment and advocacy, proactively addressing concerns and reinforcing value. - Regularly analyze client usage and campaign results to produce insights that clearly connect platform activity to growth, engagement, and ROI. - Build and deliver Executive/Strategic Business Reviews (EBRs) for targeted segments of your portfolio, tailoring content for senior decision-makers that showcase the value clients are realizing from using the Data and Marketing solution. - Lead client success initiatives for your accounts and across Alkami, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, engagement, and upsell opportunities that expand Alkami’s footprint (e.g., across additional Alkami Service Group products). - Develop and maintain multi-threaded relationships across your accounts, including both operational contacts and executive influencers. - Identify, cultivate, and sustain internal “champions” at client institutions who advocate for Alkami Data and Marketing and support continued adoption and expansion. - Coordinate account engagement across internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Marketing, Implementation, Support) to present a unified, client-centric experience. - Execute established renewal playbooks and processes (e.g., health reviews, risk identification, path-to-green actions) to support achievement of retention targets. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date client data, activities, and health indicators in Customer Success tools (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce, Jira). - Follow standardized cadences for touchpoints, EBRs, and internal reviews to drive consistency and accountability across your portfolio. - Develop clear success plans that define client objectives and track progress, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes. - Advocate for client needs and escalate critical issues to internal leaders and departments, ensuring their voice is heard and their challenges are addressed. - Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing by documenting best practices, playbooks, and repeatable approaches that improve the overall Client Success motion. - Be willing to travel up to 25% as needed to meet client and business requirements. Required - Experience serving as a primary consultative partner for B2B clients, ideally in SaaS, martech, adtech, or data-driven marketing. - 5–7+ years of relevant experience in Client Success, Account Management, Marketing Strategy, or related client-facing roles, with a proven track - Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to inform marketing strategies, campaigns, and optimization recommendations. - Proven success in independently managing a diverse portfolio of clients and prioritizing time across varied sizes, complexities, and lifecycle stages. - Strong relationship-building skills with both operational contacts and executive stakeholders; comfortable leading client presentations and EBRs. - Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to distill complex data into clear, business-ready narratives. - High degree of organization, ownership, and follow-through in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Proficiency using Customer Success and CRM tools (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce) and collaboration systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Slack). - Ability to ramp up quickly and perform at a high level in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment - Solid understanding of digital marketing tactics, (e.g., email, programmatic, targeting, segmentation) and performance metrics. technical product and data insights. As a Client Success Manager II, Segmint Data & Marketing – Onboarding & Adoption, you focus on helping new and expanding clients successfully onboard to the Segmint Data & Marketing platform and rapidly ramp up to confident, self-directed usage. You serve as the primary consultative partner from client kickoff through early adoption, coordinating onboarding activities, delivering tailored training, and driving time-to-value so clients are ready for a smooth handoff into long-term strategic management. In this role, you will primarily manage a structured portfolio of onboarding projects, maintain a secondary book of business, ensure clients know how to use the platform to achieve their marketing and growth objectives, and minimize friction in the early stages of the client lifecycle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Serve as the primary Client Success point of contact for new Segmint Data & Marketing clients from kickoff through go-live and early adoption, including ownership of a secondary book of business demonstrating overall solution value ROI. - Partner closely with Implementation, Data Integration, and other internal teams to coordinate client success deliverables. - Lead or co-lead client kickoff and discovery sessions to clarify objectives, use cases, marketing programs, and success criteria. - Track and communicate status, risks, and next steps with both clients and internal partners to keep onboarding and client adoption on schedule. - Validate that key elements of the client environment (data feeds, configurations, user access, initial campaigns, etc.) are in place prior to training and go-live. - Collaborate with Implementation and technical teams to confirm readiness for production launch and mitigate risks before go-live. - Develop and deliver structured training sessions for client stakeholders (admins, marketers, analysts, day-to-day users) tailored to their use cases including how-to guides and best-practices checklists. - Host office hours, Q&A sessions, and working sessions to reinforce learning, answer questions, and demonstrate practical workflows in the platform. - Assess client checkpoints using the data and marketing platform to drive self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on ad hoc help. - Monitor product engagement and early health metrics for new clients, using data to identify adoption gaps, risks, and “quick win” opportunities. - Guide clients through initial campaign setup and activation, ensuring efforts align with their marketing strategies and measurable goals. - Conduct early-stage check-ins that connect platform usage to emerging value, reinforcing ROI and next-step priorities. - Prepare a concise but complete transition package for the long-term Strategic/Senior CSM (e.g., key contacts, objectives, current campaigns, strategy, risks, and “path to green” actions). - Lead or participate in a formal handoff meeting that includes the client and the receiving CSM, clearly explaining roles, expectations, and upcoming milestones. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of onboarding history, decisions, and success plans in Customer Success tools (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce, Jira). - Contribute feedback and insights to refine onboarding playbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures for the Data & Marketing solution including collaboration with internal teams to improve the end-to-end onboarding and adoption experience. - Participate in internal initiatives that increase scalability, reduce time-to-value, and strengthen the overall Client Success motion. - Be willing to travel up to 25% as needed to meet client and business requirements.
