Job Description

Manager, Compliance and Asset Management

CBH

• Assist with underwriting and structuring NMTC transactions ensuring compliance with tax code and executed allocation agreements • Review community benefits agreements and plans for implementation • Review loan closing documents and reporting requirements to incorporate into the Compliance and Asset Management system • Prepare annual CDE compliance reports to the U.S. Treasury Department’s CDFI Fund via the AMIS reporting system • Monitor CDE compliance with NMTC Program and Allocation Agreement including performing Sub-All and Redemption testing • Collect and analyze QALICB certifications and community impact information • Collect quarterly project level financial statements and compliance reports and perform financial and compliance analysis of information • Maintain quarterly risk ratings for assigned portfolio • Post-closing, communication with borrowers, lenders, and investors • Other job-related functions as assigned

Job Requirements

  • BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in community development finance, structured finance, or commercial loans strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of tax credit financing with specific experience with NMTC required, with specific experience with CDFI Fund’s AMIS reporting strongly preferred
  • Experience in working with CDEs, lenders, investors
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong sense of urgency and shared sense of mission
