• Ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll for multiple client organisations • Manage payroll data, processing payroll transactions, addressing clients’ queries • Ensure that all payroll activities adhere to labour and tax regulatory standards in Singapore • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Singapore’s payroll regulations and processes • Consistently achieve a high level of client satisfaction through prompt and accurate reporting • Ensure that the agreed payroll deadlines for all clients are based on given service level agreements (SLAs) • Effective communication and collaboration with team members, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date payroll records in line with legal and company standards • Handle sensitive payroll and financial data with confidentiality and integrity
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of payroll processing experience, ideally in an outsourced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Talenox, Employment Hero, Xero Payroll) and Singapore labour regulations
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other productivity tools to streamline daily tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Adaptable to changing environments and open to contributing to process improvements
- Able to meet tight deadlines; immediate availability is preferred

Role Description Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of multi-state payroll in partnership with Insperity, the organization's Professional Employer Organization (PEO). The role functions as the internal payroll subject matter expert and is accountable for payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal teams and Insperity. The position requires consistent application of payroll and wage and hour regulations, strong attention to detail, and the use of sound judgment to identify, research, and resolve payroll issues. The role supports payroll operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
