About the Role We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems and networks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure management, networking, and security, and is comfortable working in complex on-prem environments. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management - Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking equipment) - Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability - Perform regular updates, patches, and system maintenance Network & Connectivity - Design, implement, and manage network configurations (LAN, WAN, VPN) - Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues - Monitor and optimize network traffic and performance Firewall & Security - Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls - Manage port configurations and secure internal/external communication - Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices - Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments System Administration - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control - Perform backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity - Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes Collaboration & Support - Collaborate with IT teams on ongoing projects and initiatives - Provide technical support to internal users and teams - Support planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades
