This role is responsible for developing and advancing Medicare-focused carrier programs that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, while creating new revenue opportunities through carrier partnerships and improving internal operational efficiency. A primary focus of this position is supporting eHealth’s BPO/Overflow business, Amplify, by building strategic partnerships with Medicare carrier partners and helping design programs that deliver high-quality enrollment support at scale. The Director will work cross functionally, both internally and externally, to execute on strategic initiatives, drive measurable results, and strengthen carrier relationships across the Amplify accounts. What you’ll do: - Meet and/or exceed specific revenue/margin goals tied to programs on our Amplify partnerships. - Identify and develop new revenue opportunities with Medicare carrier partners, including MA, MAPD, PDP, and Medicare-related growth programs. - Evaluate carrier needs, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for new or expanded Medicare carrier programs. - Optimize current Medicare carrier programs to improve performance, enhance partner value, and expand participation in existing revenue opportunities. - Lead development and execution of carrier-specific solutions in partnership with carrier sales, service, operations, compliance, and product teams. - Serve as a key business lead for Amplify, positioning the business as a strategic capability for Medicare carrier partners seeking scalable BPO/Overflow support. - Develop and present Medicare carrier program recommendations, business cases, and partnership opportunities to executive leadership and cross functional stakeholders. - Establish leading and lagging KPIs to measure program success, including growth, quality, operational performance, retention, and partner satisfaction. - Lead direct reports and cross functional teams in the implementation and execution of BPO agreements. - Build internal processes and operational workflows that support successful delivery of carrier programs tied to Amplify and other Medicare strategic initiatives. - Create and foster senior-level relationships with Medicare carrier partners to support long term growth, execution, and innovation. - Develop reporting packages and business reviews for carrier partners and internal leadership to communicate results, performance trends, and program opportunities. - Act as a subject matter expert on Medicare carrier strategy and partnership development in support of broader company goals and objectives. - Provide regular updates and performance reporting to direct leadership and key stakeholders. - Help establish an overall Amplify Carrier Development strategy aligned with the organization’s goals across relationship management, implementation, communication, reporting, and ongoing partner support. - Partner with carriers to ensure organizational objectives and carrier objectives are aligned, with particular emphasis on sustainable growth, quality outcomes, and operational execution. - Develop communication strategies and activity plans that position eHealth and Amplify as a valued partner in Medicare/Health distribution and BPO/Overflow solutions. - Establish reporting standards and success metrics to ensure achievement of Medicare carrier program goals and objectives.
