Job Description
AI Analytics Analyst
Travel + Leisure Co.
We Put the World on Vacation Travel + Leisure Co. is the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, with a dynamic and growing portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. Our dedicated associates help the company achieve its mission to put the world on vacation. Innovation and growth keep our work interesting and fun. Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide. The AI Analytics Analyst is a supporting role within Global Rental Operations (GRO). Working under the guidance of channel analysts for digital performance, travel ads, paid media, content, and marketplace expansion, this position applies AI‑enabled analytics and orchestrates AI agents to surface real‑time insights and recommended actions. As GRO scales to new brands, distribution partners, and marketplaces, this role partners with IT to request, configure, and operate analysis agents (including site‑audit bots and media‑monitoring bots) that proactively detect issues and opportunities impacting conversion rate and return on ad spend (ROAS). How You'll Shine: - Work under channel analysts to answer complex, cross‑channel questions using AI‑assisted analysis. - Produce concise insight briefs and recommendations that inform daily spend, pacing, targeting, and creative decisions. - Maintain a backlog of analyst requests and a knowledge base of resolved analyses and learned patterns. - Define requirements and partner with IT to provision, secure, and monitor AI agents that support analytics (e.g., task runners, detectors, and triage bots). - Operate or coordinate: - Web Audit Bots: crawl brand and marketplace sites to detect analytics/tagging breaks, page‑speed and UX defects, broken links, schema/metadata gaps, inventory mis‑flags, and other conversion barriers; open tickets with evidence and priority. - Paid/Social Monitoring Bots: ingest campaign, creative, and auction signals to flag spend inefficiencies, audience saturation, frequency/creative fatigue, placement anomalies, and flighting conflicts; recommend reallocations by resort and by day, including OTA travel ads. - Competitive Intelligence Bots: track competitor paid and social presence to surface positioning, offer cadence, share‑of‑voice shifts, and creative patterns; summarize implications and opportunities for our channels. - Ensure agents adhere to data governance, privacy, and security standards; document SLAs, observability metrics (precision/recall), and escalation paths. - Work under the guidance of the Digital Performance Analyst (dashboard owner) to ensure AI capabilities are incorporated, governed, and leveraged effectively within dashboards. - Embed Copilot‑ready metadata (clear measure names, definitions, calculation logic) so natural‑language Q&A returns accurate, explainable answers. - Stream agent findings (alerts, anomalies, opportunities) into dashboard tiles, Teams posts, and digest emails for rapid action by analysts and stakeholders. - Maintain model/agent documentation (inputs, thresholds, false‑positive handling) and align with IT and data governance to keep dashboards reliable, auditable, and scalable. - Provide analysis that informs content structure and discoverability (SEO + LLM/AI surfaces), including schema coverage, topical depth, and intent alignment. - Correlate content signals with conversion barriers identified by web audit bots; recommend fixes that improve path‑to‑booking. - Continuously evaluate new analytics, media, and agent frameworks; pilot proofs‑of‑concept with IT and document ROI. - Standardize reusable prompts, playbooks, and operating procedures so capabilities scale to new marketplaces and brands with minimal lift. Travel Requirements - 0–10% as needed for cross-functional meetings and conferences. What You'll Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field - Masters preferred. - Analytics certifications preferred. - Demonstrated ability to operate in a supporting capacity under channel analysts. - Strong analytical storytelling; ability to translate signals into clear recommended actions. - Familiarity with paid media, travel ads, social, SEO, and marketplace data structures. - Understanding of data governance, model/agent observability, and incident management. - Power BI (modeling, DAX), Excel (advanced), SQL (read/query) with Snowflake familiarity. - GA4 and tagging/UTM governance; exposure to ad platforms and social analytics. - Experience configuring/working with AI agents or automation frameworks (e.g., task schedulers, monitoring pipelines); Python a plus. - 2+ years in data analytics/BI with exposure to paid media and web analytics; hospitality/travel/ecommerce preferred. Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
