Job Description

Network Operations Center Coordinator

• Audit prior-week trouble and work cases, correcting coding as needed to ensure complete and accurate reporting • Analyze audited case data to produce executive-level KPI summaries, slides, and presentations monthly, quarterly, and on demand • Manage and maintain the master list of FOPS and Network Region definitions, updating at least monthly • Investigate and report on the most significant service-impacting events each month • Manage the NOC SharePoint site, including functionality updates and maintenance of departmental documents, reports, and reference materials • Maintain accurate administrative records, historical KPI data, and documentation to support long-term data analysis • Review, analyze, and update NOC policies, procedures, and job aids in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts • Develop and support training programs by creating instructional materials and coordinating the scheduling, tracking, and documentation of training activities • Support departmental and company goals and initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned • Provide after-hours or on-call support as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • 1-3 years working in the telecommunications industry is preferred
  • Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with pivot tables and MS SharePoint a plus
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

DESCRIPTION The GIS Technician will join the DATAMARK Technologies vertical of public safety, NG9-1-1, and GIS professionals focused on NG9-1-1 and other GIS projects. The GIS Technician will execute data services projects under the direction of the GIS Lead and Project Manager. Responsibilities include hands-on evaluation and manipulation of spatial and attribute information for address points, street center lines, emergency response boundaries, PSAP boundaries, and provisioning boundaries against base map layers including parcels, aerial photography, jurisdictional boundaries, etc. - Apply your knowledge of geography, mapping, planning, and computer sciences to support a variety of GIS projects - Collaborate with specialists and professionals to review project specifications and contribute to: - Plan preparation - Evaluation of project conditions - Design updates - Technical reports - Use industry-standard software (such as ArcGIS) to create, edit, and manage GIS files - Maintain and update GIS databases to ensure accuracy and reliability - Develop basic GIS applications that support project and team needs - Produce maps using plotting and mapping technologies to meet customer requirements, in both digital and printed formats - Digitize documents and apply annotation tools to add clear, accurate text to maps and project materials - Conduct materials and data testing, analysis, and basic quality control checks - Review and interpret diagrams and technical documents to extract relevant project and production data - Calculate dimensions, profile specifications, and material quantities to support project planning and execution - Participate in field work to collect data and materials as needed - Accurately document research findings in handwritten logs or computer databases - Support the team by taking on additional responsibilities as assigned PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS •Minimum two-year degree or applicable professional experience; Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in GIS, Geography, Science, or related field of study is preferred. •1-2 years of experience working directly with GIS data, preferably in a consulting environment •1 -2 years of experience with the Esri ArcGIS suite •Must have the ability to work both independently, with limited supervision, and as part of a geographically dispersed team. •Outstanding written and oral communication skills •Technical documentation development skills are a plus •Ability to translate technical concepts into layman’s terms •Ability to coordinate with project stakeholders •Strong analytical abilities, solid analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify and solve client issues COMPENSATION The salary for this position is $28.00 to $31.00 per hour, depending on the experience of the candidate.
