Job Description

Event Operations Coordinator – Government & Defense Programs

NSTXL (National Security Technology Accelerator)

• Support end-to-end planning and execution of events including tradeshows, conferences, internal programs, and virtual/hybrid events • Coordinate logistics including venue sourcing and RFP development, room block management and travel coordination, food & beverage planning, audio/visual and production requirements, shipping and material handling • Manage full lifecycle tradeshow logistics including exhibit coordination, shipping and drayage, booth setup and teardown, power, internet, and A/V requirements, staff registration, training, and scheduling • Own development and management of event websites and registration pages (e.g., Cvent), email campaigns and attendee communications, pre-event and post-event messaging • Provide logistical and technical support for virtual events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom for Government, Cvent, HubSpot • Ensure a high-quality, detail-oriented attendee experience aligned with brand standards and compliance with government protocols • Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies across multiple concurrent events

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior experience (internships, summer programs, part-time employment) event coordination, logistics, or related field
  • Experience with event platforms such as Cvent or similar registration tools
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting government (B2G) or defense-related events (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Federal and military event environments
  • Compliance considerations (e.g., accessibility, data handling, security protocols) (preferred)
  • Tradeshow and field marketing experience (preferred)
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) (preferred)

Role Description UNICEF USA is seeking an Integrated Marketing & Events intern for its New York office. The intern will work in collaboration with the Integrated Marketing Strategist (NYC-based) and Integrated Marketing Events Manager (virtual) to support civil society and corporate partnerships, individual giving engagements, and the organization of a new Individual Giving event series to be launched in July 2026. We are currently seeking paid interns for our cohort that will take place June 2, 2026, to August 21, 2026. How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner Telehealth provides remote medical care to inmate patients through a telemedicine platform in collaboration with physician staff and onsite healthcare teams. This role conducts history and physical visits and sick call clinics using telehealth technology with support from onsite presenters. The position coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while following established policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Care is delivered in a manner that supports efficient, high-quality, and compliant telehealth services. Key Responsibilities - Conduct telehealth evaluations including history and physicals and sick call visits in collaboration with physicians and onsite presenters. - Provide clinically appropriate assessments, treatment plans, and patient and staff education aligned with best practices and protocols. - Collaborate with onsite healthcare teams to prepare, conduct, and support efficient telehealth clinics. - Document all clinical findings accurately and timely in the electronic medical record while maintaining confidentiality. - Deliver remote care, participate in quality and peer review activities, and provide cross-coverage and clinical support as needed.
