Facility Environmental Manager
Denali Water Solutions LLC
Role Description The Facility Environmental Manager will lead the environmental compliance program for Denali owned, leased, and operated facilities located in the North. The environmental compliance program works in partnership with facility operations to maintain Denali’s environmental goals and objectives. This position will report to the Denali Facilities Environmental Compliance Director. Key Responsibilities - Permit compliance for multi-sector programs including: solid waste, stormwater, air quality, SPCC, etc. - Provide onsite environmental guidance for operations, including quarterly site visits to each Southeast facility. - Compliance review and assistance (permits, leases, contracts, etc.). - Master calendar of fees, permits, license renewals and working with system (Sharepoint) to house master calendar. - Facilitate mandated environmental training. - Permit updates and minor modifications. - Audits of Denali owned and operated facilities. - Response to any enforcement actions. - Corrective action management. - Tracking regulatory changes. - Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, earth science, or related environmental degree. - Experience with obtaining and maintaining permits. - Proactive with timelines and ability to manage time well. - Strong organizational skills and who can work independently and with a team. - Outgoing, self-starter who can create value while working independently but also on a team. - Proven success in communicating across multiple teams and to regulatory agencies. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Outlook. This Opportunity WSP USA is currently initiating a search for a Senior Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). The Senior Director of HSE will provide support to operations and large project teams across multiple business lines that may include Federal, Power & Energy, Earth & Environment, Property & Buildings, or Transportation & Infrastructure. This position is a Senior Vice President level position reporting to the Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment Leader for the WSP US Region. The candidate may work out of any WSP US office.
