Director, Interoperability Operations
Vatica Health
• Lead Interoperability Management (IM) and Interoperability Support Engineering (ISE) teams • Partner with Product, Client Success, and Clinical Operations leaders on process and forecasting • Drive ongoing alignment and optimization of EMR interoperability operations cross functionally • Own integration delivery metrics, reporting, and leadership readouts • Ensure accountability for provider integration success across the operational teams • Serve as an escalation point for integration delivery and support issues • Work closely with leadership to plan organization evolution as volume and complexity increases • Partner with Interoperability Engineering Directors on technical execution and support priorities, including monitoring integration health and reporting applicable metrics • Drive utilization of standardized processes, templates, and self-service tools to scale efficiently and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement • Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies • Accountable for implementation playbook content and leading ongoing process optimization and education across the operational teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years successfully leading operational teams and corresponding processes
- 5+ years implementing complex healthcare software with providers
- Clear understanding of provider workflows, risk adjustment, and quality of care
- Comfort working with technical teams and concepts (APIs, data feeds, EMR config)
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Exceptional communication and expectation-setting skills with internal and external stakeholders and leadership, including technical and non-technical topics
- Strong judgment in prioritization, escalation, and resource allocation
- Ability to translate strategy into operational execution
- Deep understanding of EMR integration lifecycle and provider constraints
- Ability to manage multiple teams including technical subject matter experts
- Experience scaling teams and processes in high-growth environments
- High ownership mindset and bias toward hands-on execution
- [Preferred] Deep knowledge of current integrated products and EMR strategy
