What you’ll do on a typical day: - Leverage data from various data sources including data lake, Oracle databases, ERP, WMS and internal tools (like Excel or other data management systems) to build advanced data products, create descriptive and predictive models, and visualize on BI platforms. - Collaborate with and manage stakeholders across processes, facilities, locations, units, and levels to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate defining measurement solutions and implement business processes and techniques that drive performance - Partner with and influence other teams such as account management, operations support, IT for alignment and discrepancy prevention. - Serve as the subject matter expert on the assigned function product and work with other business analysts to boost operational performance - Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes - Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems - Participate in building and maintaining BI dashboards, automated and self-service tools, and educating end users as well as other business analysts. What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience - Strong facilitation skills and process-driven analytical skills - 5+ years’ experience with a proven record of success in business process analysis and process improvement initiatives - 5+ years of experience in building financial and operational models, reports, tools, and datasets - Advanced analytical skills and experience with data science tools including SQL, Python/R, as well as Excel, Power BI, and Power Query - Proven ability to work autonomously as well as establish effective work relationship a matrix organization It’d be great if you also have: - Project Management and Lean Six Sigma belt certification - Ability to work with automation tools such as Airflow, Power Automate or RPA - Skillful with platforms such as Snowflake or GCP - 3+ years work experience with various departments and multi-functional projects - MBA or master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
