You will design and govern modern cloud-based data architectures leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SAP data ecosystems, and enterprise analytics platforms. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving HARMAN’s transition toward domain-oriented data products and the adoption of a future-ready Data Fabric architecture. What You Will Do - Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and best practices across the Lifestyle Digital data ecosystem. - Design scalable data architectures supporting analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise reporting. - Architect and govern the Snowflake data platform and enterprise data warehouse environment. - Design robust data integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems, APIs, and cloud data sources. - Enable domain-driven data products that deliver reusable and trusted datasets for business teams. - Define data modeling standards, including dimensional models, semantic models, and domain data models. - Establish architecture patterns to support future Data Fabric capabilities, including metadata-driven architectures and data sharing. - Partner with BI teams (Power BI, Qlik) to enable scalable semantic layers and self-service analytics. - Define data governance standards, including metadata management, data lineage, data quality frameworks, and master data principles. What You Need to Be Successful - 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms. - Strong expertise in designing modern cloud data architectures (Fabric, Snowflake, or similar platforms). - Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data modeling practices. - Experience in integrating SAP data landscapes with modern analytics platforms. - Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals. - Experience in designing scalable data pipelines and distributed data architectures. Bonus Points if You Have - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field. - Experience in implementing data products, Data Mesh, or domain-oriented data architectures. - Experience in designing or implementing Data Fabric or metadata-driven data architectures. - Experience with enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI or Qlik. - Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, or other SAP data platforms. - Experience in enabling AI/ML data platforms and advanced analytics.
