About the role and what you'll be doing: As a Mainframe Modernization Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and execution of medium to large complex, multi-phased projects with external project dependencies. Key Responsibilities: - Promote client satisfaction by ensuring the project adheres to stakeholder specifications. - Responsible for project completion within determined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. - Define, organize, and plan project schedules to meet required project timelines. - Facilitate/lead estimation of moderately complex projects. - Develop project schedule and determine resource needs. - Work closely with resource managers to ensure proper resource allocation to the project. - Inspect and review projects to ensure adherence to project standards. - Monitor compliance with established project guidelines and methodology. - Control project scope through effective change management skills. - Perform qualitative/quantitative risk analysis of identified risks. - Manage risk response and control. - - Ensure all project close-out activities are completed and documented. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Demonstrated history of managing application development projects. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment. - Strong project financial management experience including financial forecasting and ability to demonstrate cost control management - This role requires a thorough understanding of project management principles and the application thereof. You should also be knowledgeable in project management methodology and solution development methodologies. - External customer-facing presentation experience - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with clients. Preferred Qualifications - CAPM/PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred. - Demonstrated history of managing mainframe application modernization (refactor or rehost) projects. - Experience working in managed services. - Master’s degree - Financial management experience with third party providers/delivery partners, including aligning spend to work progress. - Significant C-level presentation experience. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
