• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Americas region to drive revenue and market share growth • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across key adhesives market segments including (but not limited to) hygiene, packaging, tapes & labels, flex packaging and tyres • Analyse and communicate market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales tactics and product positioning • Collaborate with global teams across the organization to prioritize customer needs to maximize division results • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to ensure long-term business success. • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional sales team, setting clear goals and performance expectations. • Foster a high-performance sales culture by implementing best practices in sales processes, training, and customer engagement. • Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard top sales talent within the region. • Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Actively involved in negotiation and management of large contracts and strategic partnerships in the region. • Instrumental in strengthening the Synthomer adhesive solutions brand in the Americas region • Lead Americas commercial cross functional teams by Working closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and Technology, to align sales efforts with business objectives • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and networking. • Accountable for achieving the Americas sales budget on revenue, new business and gross margin • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior leadership • Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales experience within the chemical manufacturing or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of the Americas market, customer dynamics, and regional regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region as required.

The Territory Sales Executive for the Nebraska/South Dakota area market is responsible for managing and growing all Cepheid business in acute healthcare markets and for coordinating all associated company activity within an assigned geography for both existing and prospective accounts.
