Job Description

Client Support Specialist

Hanger, Inc.

• Provide direct support to the Client Partners in areas such as billing, payment processing, and accounts receivable. • Perform basic claim scrubs • Input data into insurance portals • Perform preliminary and in-depth (code specific) insurance verifications • Prepare documentation for prior authorization submission • Check claim status per client partners’ specifications • Mail paper claims • Investigate and report on claim denials • Conduct follow-up phone calls to insurance companies to manage accounts receivables • Run monthly reports as specified by the client partners • Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members • Other roles may be added as professional development and training is completed • Other tasks may be assigned by Leadership Team as needed

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior medical office experience required
  • O&P Admin or billing experience preferred
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
