• Structure and analyze data related to insurance products (life, health, automobile, property, among others). • Build and maintain management dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker). • Support Products, Finance and Claims areas, translating requests into strategic analyses. • Monitor business KPIs: loss ratio, retention, LTV, churn, sales performance and profitability. • Ensure the quality and governance of data used in reports. • Participate in digital transformation and data-driven innovation projects in insurance. • Track KPIs such as adoption, average ticket, margin by channel and repurchase cycle. • Interface with Sales, IT, Reverse Logistics, Finance and re-commerce partners. • Support the modeling of promotional campaigns incentivizing trade-ins of used products. • Build management dashboards and analytical reports to support decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience in data analysis applied to the financial or insurance sector.
  • Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of applied statistics and data modeling.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience at insurers, banks or fintechs.
  • Knowledge of actuarial science or risk modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analyses.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse/ETL.

TITLE: SMALL BUSINESS CREDIT ANALYST II STATUS: EXEMPT REPORTS TO: MGR - BUSINESS SERVICES ORIGINATION OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT: BUSINESS SERVICES OPERATIONS JOB CODE: 11688 PAY RANGE: $85,100.00 - $93,000.00 ANNUALLY GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Small Business Credit Analyst II is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating complex small business credit applications through the digital channel, and based on their judgment, approve, modify or deny consistent with credit union guidelines. Small Business Credit Analyst II must clearly document and communicate the reasoning for their decision. Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal business partners. A Credit Analyst II will mentor junior analysts and be prepared to assist in more complex credit decisions or approve transactions outside of other’s lending authority. Maintain a thorough understanding of the credit union’s underwriting standards, risk philosophy, credit culture and market conditions. Exhibits good leadership ability.
