Overview We're looking for a strategic and passionate Associate Director, Project Management to help lead paid digital advertising efforts for a large Automotive brand. This role is critical in guiding the day-to-day internal and client relationships, driving content excellence, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams to deliver bold, data-driven strategies and content. The Associate Director will actively identify organic growth opportunities, heavily involved in estimation and contract reviews to ensure accuracy of effort and commitment. They will also consults with the leadership team on decisions and works together to persuasively align the project team to a greater goal. The core role of our Project Management team is to partner with Client Services in spearheading the execution of brand directives -- including Tier 1 and Tier 2 paid media campaigns, vehicle reveals/launches, and always-on paid media support. Working on digital paid advertising is exciting, fast-paced, and always-evolving, so we are looking for individuals who are passionate about automotive and can jump in to make an immediate impact on our day-to-day client work. Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day communications through meeting scheduling, feedback trackers, meeting notes, status documents, QA - Collaborate with the Client Services, Strategy, Creative, and Media teams to ensure cohesive, audience-first campaigns - Review all deliverables and ensure exceptional delivery of tactics to form/reinforce client rapport (e.g. partner with Client Services, team follow through, reports, meetings, timelines) - Ability to articulate delivery process/methodology effectively and successfully, clearly discuss and internally communicate Client constraints related to scope, timeline, or cost. - Work closely with Staffing to assist with finalizing the Staffing Plan, should any outstanding resource needs remain Project & Team Oversight - Manage workstreams with clarity, efficiency, and accountability - Oversee timelines, approvals, and deliverables across campaigns and evergreen content - Mentor and lead junior account team members, promoting growth and team excellence - Serve as the connective tissue across client services, strategy, creative, production, analytics, and media Qualifications - 5-7 years of project management experience in an agency setting (automotive experience a plus) managing medium-large size, digital media and social programs; approx. $10M in revenue - Proven expertise in managing digital paid media programs for large-scale brands - Adept at juggling multiple complex projects with meticulous attention to detail - Confident communicator who can lead meetings - Team player with a collaborative spirit and entrepreneurial energy - Familiarity with asset specs, usage rights, and versioning across social and online advertising - Experience with strategy, creative, data, production, and media disciplines. - Experience with a distributed delivery model, leading diverse teams, and collaborating in a multi-cultural environment for end-to-end engagements. - Effective systems thinking skills and ability to identify interconnectivity across multiple streams of work. - Demonstrated experience navigating a large organization, showcasing the ability to influence with storytelling and data. - Experience engaging directly with clients and comfortable with presenting to senior leaders. - Strong project management experience. Process oriented with understanding of SAFe Agile ways of working.
