The Impact of a Senior Solution Consultant at Coupa: The Senior Solution Consultant is the essential Subject Matter Expert (SME) who drives sales by translating complex Business Spend solutions into persuasive customer value. They are critical for influencing the product roadmap, leading technical demonstrations, and ensuring high standards are met and kept What You'll Do: - Provide Technical & Value Expertise: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical expertise, competitive differentiation, and strategic advice throughout the entire sales process. - Demonstration & Solutioning: Deliver compelling demonstrations by combining solution configuration, visual aids, and persuasive storytelling to show how Coupa's unified suite drives measurable business value and customer success. - Sales Enablement & Support: Support the sales cycle directly by helping develop RFP responses and other sales collateral (presentations, documents, videos) while maintaining current configuration knowledge of the unified application suite. - Drive Strategic Growth: Participate in cross-functional projects to increase the pace and size of sales transactions and accelerate the adoption of Coupa solutions as the company scales. - Process Ownership: Improve execution and address problems by taking ownership and exhibiting a bias for action with a solution-oriented thinking to address complex challenges. The position is primarily remote but may require travel. What You Will Bring to Coupa: - Experience & Qualifications: Possess 1 to 5 years of experience supporting the sales or implementation of enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) and hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. - Domain Focus: Must have experience with one or more Business Spend Management (BSM) applications (e.g., eProcurement, Invoice Automation, Treasury Management, etc.). - Consulting Background: Previous consulting experience with major enterprise application providers (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.) is a strong predictor of success. - Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including slide design (PPT/Google Docs) and persuasive storytelling. - Work Style & Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced and passionate environment and have experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations. - Strong German language skills #LI-Remote #LI-PC1 Coupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment. This engagement is intended to supplement internal HR capacity by providing specialized compensation expertise on a flexible basis, supporting both planned initiatives and emerging needs. The consultant will deliver discrete analyses, recommendations, and project-based outputs to help strengthen compensation frameworks, ensure internal equity, and align with market practices. This is a non-exclusive, independent contractor engagement, not an employment position. Work will be requested periodically and scoped based on organizational priorities.
