THE ROLE: Under the direction of the Business Development Center Manager, the Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential sellers, traders, or consignors of RVs. They are responsible for proactively working leads to find individuals who are interested in selling their RVs and then passing those leads to the Pre-Owned Inventory Specialist for further handling. This position requires exceptional communication skills, persistence, and a proactive approach to generate a consistent pipeline of used RV inventory. As Blue Compass continues to grow, flexibility is necessary to ongoing development and changes of processes and procedures to this role. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead Generation: - Utilize various lead sources such as online platforms, customer referrals, marketing campaigns, and industry networks to identify potential RV sellers, traders, or consignors. - Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-up communication to engage with leads and build relationships. Must prioritize a focus on calling leads; Secondary communication like email and text may be used within reason. - Qualify leads by gathering information about their RVs, their motivations for selling, and their desired outcomes. Relationship Building: - Establish rapport and maintain positive relationships with potential sellers, traders, or consignors. - Act as a knowledgeable resource by providing information about the dealership's services, pricing, and advantages of working with the dealership. Lead Management: - Accurately document and track lead information, communications, and updates in a CRM system. - Prioritize leads based on their readiness and potential to convert into Pre-owned inventory. - Regularly follow up with leads to nurture relationships, address concerns, and provide any necessary information or support. Consignment Support: - Assist customers in exploring RV sales and consignment options, providing accurate information and guidance throughout the process. - Collaborate with potential buyers and consignors to understand their needs, address inquiries, and present suitable solutions. Procurement Specialist Page 3 of 5 - Work closely with the sales and consignment teams to ensure smooth transactions and exceptional customer experiences. Virtual Sales Integration (Coming Soon): Procurement Specialist - Effectively setting appointments for dealerships and corresponding communication for all parties involved to ensure a great customer experience. - Provide detailed and accurate product knowledge to interested customers. - Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets. - Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction/repeat business and referrals. - All other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Effective Verbal / Written communication skills. - Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills. - Ability to do data entry quickly and accurately. - Excellent Attendance Record. - Microsoft Apps experience, a plus. - Must be meeting all performance objectives. - Advanced Interpersonal and Customer Service skills. - Ability to function and communicate in a team environment. - Able to communicate effectively and control a virtual meeting or in person space. - Management/Leadership background, a plus.
