• Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda • Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department • Preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery, to include depositions/examinations before trial and examinations under oath, and defending by trial or dispositive hearing, all matters assigned, as applicable

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 6+ years of experience in related field in litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury
  • Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED
  • Admission to the New York Bar REQUIRED
  • Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in New York and meet and maintain licensing requirements including mandatory Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements where applicable
  • Must be able to travel as required, including but not limited, to attend trials, hearings, depositions, management meetings and conferences
  • Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

We are hiring a Donor Relations Advisor to own relationships with donors and turn them into long-term partners in the mission. This role is responsible for staying in touch, meeting in person, and helping donors understand the impact of their giving—while confidently asking them to continue investing in winning. If you enjoy building relationships, being on the road, and having direct conversations about giving, this role puts you at the center of YAL’s fundraising efforts. About the role The Donor Relations Advisor manages a portfolio of donors and is responsible for retaining, engaging, and growing those relationships over time. You will communicate directly with donors through calls, personalized outreach, and in-person meetings. A core part of the role is traveling for donor tours, meeting face-to-face, and building trust that leads to continued and increased giving. This is not a back-office role. You will be expected to talk to donors regularly, meet them in person, and ask for financial support. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, follow-through, discretion, and the ability to understand what motivates each donor and communicate accordingly. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Development and supports both Young Americans for Liberty and the Young Americans for Liberty Foundation. The Donor Relations Advisor works closely with the Donor Relations Manager to deliver a consistent, high-quality donor experience. The Manager focuses on research, content, and donor strategy, while the Advisor serves as the front-facing relationship owner—responsible for direct communication, in-person meetings, and ongoing engagement with donors. 📍 Location: Remote (U.S.) ✈ Travel: ~40–50% What you'll do Build and maintain donor relationships - Engage regularly with donors through calls, messages, and in-person meetings - Get to know donor interests, motivations, and giving priorities - Maintain consistent, personal communication across your portfolio Travel and conduct donor tours - Travel to meet donors in person across assigned regions - Plan and execute donor tours, meeting multiple donors per trip - Build trust and strengthen relationships through face-to-face interaction Drive donor retention and continued giving - Communicate the impact of donor contributions clearly and consistently - Ask donors to continue or increase their support - Identify opportunities to grow donor commitment over time Provide consistent donor outreach and stewardship - Send tailored updates on YAL’s priorities, victories, and future plans - Ensure timely and thoughtful follow-up after donations - Deliver a consistent gratitude experience across your portfolio Maintain organized donor pipelines - Log all donor interactions and updates in our CRM - Track each donor’s status and engagement level - Keep donor records accurate and up to date What Success Looks Like - Strong retention across your assigned donor portfolio - Consistent donor communication and engagement - Successful completion of donor tours and in-person meetings - Increased long-term donor value and commitment - Accurate and organized donor tracking in our CRM Qualifications - Experience in sales, fundraising, or donor relations, with a track record of asking for and closing financial commitments - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with individuals across different backgrounds - Comfortable having direct conversations about money and asking for continued support - Ability to travel frequently and independently manage all aspects of travel, including transportation and in-person meetings - Organized and reliable, with the ability to track communication and manage a donor portfolio - Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive donor information with discretion - Strongly aligned with Young Americans for Liberty’s mission and principles. Job Description Essential Responsibilities - Provide technical and clinical leadership during pre-sales process by demonstrating full range of Ultrasound products, including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers to drive revenue within the region. - Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective based system training for your customers: monitor and report on training outcomes. - Serve as a subject matter expert for General Imaging Ultrasound, and clinical liaison to the sales organization with the goal of strengthening clinical capabilities of the team and customer relationships, while also driving business opportunities forward. - Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence back to the business. - Advance new product (NPI) features and clinical techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation for General Imaging Ultrasound, and ongoing training needs. - Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training. - Act as focal point for modality / team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests. - Develop meaningful relationships with your customers (highlighting key opinion leaders (KOLs) where necessary) to standardize and optimize protocols and support our clinical education initiatives. - Embrace and promote adoption of hybrid training delivery mindset for your customer. - Maintain required well-written pre and post training documentation in conjunction with global guidance. - Demonstrate safety first and quality mindset, maintaining applicable processes as part of the Quality Management System and EHS policies and procedures. Qualifications - Associates degree or equivalent and 3+ years of of Ultrasound technical/clinical industry experience; plus American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast or RVT. Adult Cardiac and MSK desired.  - Demonstrated experience working on GE Healthcare GI systems. - Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation. - Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience. - Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking and IT - Willingness to travel extensively 75+% (4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.). #LI-KC1 We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
