What we need Symbotic is seeking a Cross-Functional Program Manager – PMO to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that improve portfolio execution performance (schedule, cost, quality, and delivery readiness). This role is responsible for planning and driving complex improvement programs that span multiple departments and functional groups – bringing structure, cadence, and accountability to work that does not naturally “live” in one function. What you’ll need - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of project management experience, with a track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives from initiation through implementation. - Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups and leadership levels. - Strong working knowledge of project execution fundamentals: scheduling, field coordination, risk management, change control, and governance. - Experience with lean / continuous improvement tools and/or Obeya-style visual management; able to facilitate structured problem solving and decision cycles. - Experience supporting project delivery of automated systems (e.g., ASRS, conveyors/packaging lines) or large-scale industrial deployments preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify root causes and translate them into practical corrective actions. - Proficiency with MS Suite, Jira, and familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and reporting systems preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce executive-ready updates and facilitate effective working sessions.
