• Analyze business requirements and create innovative technical specifications for BI solutions. • Develop, implement, and maintain modern BI solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, Azure Synapse). • Model and technically implement database, data warehousing, and BI architectures as well as ETL processes based on the Microsoft BI stack. • Perform data modeling and integrate data from various sources into the Azure cloud. • Create advanced reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support data-driven business decisions. • Train and support end users in using modern BI tools. • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery. • Conduct quality assurance measures and performance optimizations for BI solutions.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft BI suite and modern Azure tools (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, Azure Synapse).
- Programming skills in T-SQL, Python, DAX, Power Query (M).
- Experience in data modeling and database design.
- Analytical skills and a good understanding of business contexts.
- Ideally some experience with Databricks and Power BI certifications.
- Very good German and good English skills.
